What is Fast Philosophy?
The American Society for Aesthetics Graduate E-Journal is excited to present a new venue for discussion, Fast Philosophy!
Fast Philosophy pieces are designed to be brief conversational pieces with which ASA members can start a dialogue about current topics in aesthetics. In roughly 500-750 words, Fast Philosophy pieces introduce a new or current debate in aesthetics and briefly sketch a possible argument or highlight questions that need to be explored within that conversation. Then, in the comment section, readers and the author can continue the conversation, share resources, and help examine the issue in further detail.
Fast Philosophy pieces are a great way for scholars to start a new project or consider a new topic of interest, and we hope that they will help foster meaningful conversation among aesthetics graduate students!
